In February we kicked off the planned outings for the year with a visit to the movies followed by some ice cream. For some of our residents it was their first time being in a movie theatre and it was a hit. 

Besides all the fun we are still busy at work trying to find ways to serve those who need it most. The residents at Philakade Care Home are the heart and that won’t be changing anytime soon. 

Here is one of our residents being helped by the rehab team to make use of our standing frame and another learning to communicate using the Eye Gaze. Thanks to the team from Interface for helping her with this new skill. 

Finally we were also visited by the wonderful team form Angel Paws. Here are a few pics of residents enjoying the company of the canine therapists.
